What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 3:00 PM and check-out is by 11:00 AM.
How many guests can stay?
The Kin Suite accommodates up to 8 guests, and the Gin Suite accommodates 2 guests. The entire property (both suites, over 250 sqm) can host up to 10 guests.
Can we stay with children?
Of course. As the house is entirely private, families with children can relax without worrying about other guests. Please let us know your group details when booking.
Is the house suitable for multi-generational trips?
Yes. The Kin Suite has separate bedrooms and a spacious living and dining area where the whole family can gather. Please note the house has steps; contact us in advance if you have accessibility concerns.
Are meals included?
Meals are not included, but the Kin Suite has a full kitchen with cookware and tableware. We are happy to recommend excellent restaurants in Nara.
Can we stay long-term?
Yes. With a full kitchen and a Miele washer-dryer, the house is well suited to long stays. Contact us for extended-stay inquiries.
Traveling with Pets
Can I stay with my pet?
Yes, both the Kin Suite and the Gin Suite welcome pets. Dogs may roam freely indoors in both suites. Cats are also welcome — in the Gin Suite they may roam freely, and in the Kin Suite they stay in a cage, which we provide.
How much is the pet fee?
Gin Suite: from ¥11,000 per night (tax included). Kin Suite: from ¥18,000 per night (tax included) for the first pet. Please see our pet policy page for additional pets and long stays. Proof of vaccination is required in advance.
Facilities
Is the open-air bath a hot spring?
It is not a natural hot spring, but a private open-air bath crafted from natural stone, with bath salts provided. The open-air bath and gym are available to Kin Suite guests.
Is Wi-Fi available?
Yes, free high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.
Is parking available?
Yes, private parking is available for guests. Please let us know when booking.
Access
What is the nearest station?
Kintetsu-Nara Station is about an 8-minute walk, and JR Nara Station is about a 15-minute walk. The house is in the heart of Naramachi.
How close is Nara Park?
Nara Park and Kofuku-ji Temple are about a 3-minute walk; Todai-ji Temple is about 15 minutes on foot.
How do I get here from Kyoto or Osaka?
From Kyoto, take the Kintetsu limited express to Kintetsu-Nara Station (about 35 minutes). From Osaka, take the Kintetsu rapid express from Osaka-Namba (about 40 minutes).

Where can I book?
Availability, rates, and reservations are handled through our official booking system (tabichat). Use the BOOK NOW button at the top of the page. You will be taken to an external page, which is our official booking channel.
What is the cancellation policy?
The cancellation policy varies by plan and season. Please check the booking system page during the reservation process.
What payment methods are accepted?
Credit cards (VISA, Mastercard, American Express, JCB) are accepted. Cash is accepted at the property only.
