Information we collect
Through our enquiry form, reservations, telephone calls and check-in, we may collect your name, email address, telephone number, address, dates of stay, number of guests, whether you are travelling with a pet, and the details of your request. This website also uses cookies for analytics and advertising, and collects aggregated statistics about how the site is used (Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager).
How we use it
We use your information only to respond to enquiries and reservations, to prepare and guide your stay, to maintain the guest register required by Japanese law, to contact you about your stay, and for statistical analysis to improve our service.
Sharing with third parties
We do not share your information with third parties without your consent, except:
- where required by law, or in response to a request from a public authority under the Ryokan Business Act or similar legislation;
- with the booking system or online travel agency through which you reserved, to the extent needed to fulfil your reservation;
- with a contractor arranging a service you have requested, such as a transfer, limited to the minimum information required.

Retention and security
The guest register is retained for the period required by the Ryokan Business Act. Other information is kept only as long as needed for the purposes above. We apply appropriate safeguards against unauthorised access, loss, alteration and disclosure.
